MDC FULL COUNCIL MEETING

The Municipal Development Council Executive Committee conducts a full council meeting On June 16, 2016 the Municipal Development Council conducted a meeting by full council at Manhattan Suites Inn, Dumaguete City. It was participated by the Local Government Unit of Amlan department heads, barangay officials, Amlan PNP Chief of Police, Police Senior Inspector Felicisimo Aranas Jr., Amlan District Supervisor Rhona B. Silva from DEPED and other concerned individuals.

The meeting was presided by Honorable Bentham P. de la Cruz wherein the Municipal Development Council Executive Committee resolutions were approved.

MDC-EXECOM Resolution No. 01 – Endorsing and recommending approval of additional funding for the project Operation of iTax System to be funded out of the savings from Personal Services for the month of January 2016 in the amount of P 80,000.00 marked as Addendum No. 1, s2016.

MDC-EXECOM Resolution No. 02 – Recommending approval the reversion of funds from Maintenance and Other Operating Expenses to Capital Outlay of the same project in the total amount of P45,000.00 as Addenda No. 02, s2016.

MDC-EXECOM Resolution No. 03 – Recommending approval for the reversion of funds from Personal Services Savings of different offices for the month of January to June 2016 in the amount of P 1,984,655.05 and re-allocate the same for additional funding under the Personal Services of different offices marked as Addenda No. 03, s2016.

MDC-EXECOM Resolution No. 04 – A resolution recommending approval for the reversion of funds from MOOE savings of Amlan Waterworks System in the amount of P18,607.48 and allocate the same to the personal services of AWAS for inclusion in the CY 2016 Annual Investment Program as Addendum No. 04, s2016.

MDC-EXECOM Resolution No. 05 – A resolution recommending approval for the reversion of funds from Maintenance and Other Operating Expenses and Capital Outlay saving of the different offices in the amount of P474, 250.00 and reprogram the same to specific project marked as Addenda No. 05, s2016.

MDC-EXECOM Resolution No. 06 – A resolution recommending approval and endorsing the establishment of Dreamland Nature and Adventure Park as economic enterprise of the municipality through a Public-Private Partnership agreement.

MDC-EXECOM Resolution No. 07 – Recommending approval the additional funding under the Personal Services savings for grant of additional benefits for government personnel in the amount of P1,309,758.00 for inclusion in the C.Y. 2016 .

MDC-EXECOM Resolution No. 08 – Recommending approval and endorsing the additional funding under Personal Services for grant of additional benefits for a government employee of Amlan Waterworks System (AWAS) in the amount of P 8,395.00 from saving of MOOE and for inclusion in the Calendar Year 2016 Annual Investment Program as Addenda No. 07, s2016.

MDC-EXECOM Resolution No. 09 – A resolution recommending approval the realignment of the project loan amortization repayment for the purchase of equipment and tourism site development under the 20% EDF of Calendar Year 2016 and reverted for allocation to various priority development projects allocation to various priority development projects marked as Addenda No. 08, s2016.

Furthermore, Municipal Planning and Development Officer Mr. Geoffrey Silorio cite about an advanced application Google Earth for updated maps that can be used in geo-tagging. An additional Gawad Kalinga Site was also planned to construct in the municipality.

LDRRM Officer Jose Lawrence Silorio added about some plans of the committee for the development of the Municipality of Amlan.
